Something to Build On

Homecoming Parade 2024

We earned back-to-back varsity wins over Lincoln and Bear Creek this week before dropping our homecoming game to Conifer in spite of a two-goal comeback. The absolute highlight of our varsity week was the attitude and enthusiasm on the squad. At all three matches, the bench was on our feet cheering the whole games, and we played with confidence and fearlessness on the pitch. The change is palpable, and the boys should be very proud of how they have pulled together and started playing with joy.

After some tough JV losses this week, we had a mid-season “tryout” in training on Thursday. With the emphasis on toughness, aggressiveness and attitude, players worked to earn playing time in our upcoming JV matches. We will all see some notable changes in playing time this week based on the effort shown in the Thursday training session. We simply cannot have the lack of effort that resulted in playing below our potential.

We finish our matchup with Conifer with the JV game on Monday. Here is a link to the gameday roster.

After that, we have matches Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday again this week. Here is a link to the full schedule.

Let’s have a great week as we make the turn for the second half of the season. Above all, let’s be proud of the way we play together as a team and Ram’s family!
